Torque Ripple Suppression Method of Switched Reluctance Motor Based on an Improved Torque Distribution Function

Currently, torque ripple is a crucial factor hindering the application of switched reluctance motor (SRM). Hence, it importance to suppress this undesirable ripple. This paper proposes new suppression method SRM based on improved distribution function. Firstly, electromagnetic characteristic model 8/6-pole four-phase established, and cerebellar articulation controller (CMAC) used complete learning each model. Then, function planned give reference phase, inverse realize mapping flux linkage. Finally, duty phase voltage PWM wave modulation output PID control theory. The proposed accurate model-based planning scheme implemented simulation platform, results shows that maximum fluctuation reduced within 3%, average error 1%, which much lower than 15% under traditional direct method.
